Ageless Alliance: United Against Elder Abuse
|
|
We, the Ageless Alliance, are people of all ages who stand united to promote the dignity of older adults and to end elder abuse. We will achieve this mission by working toward the following objectives:
- BUILD AWARENESS- We recognize and promote the value and dignity of older adults. We provide education resources about elder abuse and neglect to support community prevention and intervention.
- PROVIDE SUPPORT- We provide online support resources to survivors of abuse and their advocates.
- GET INVOLVED- We provide means for abuse survivors and their advocates to unite and take action to end elder abuse. This includes educating and advocating with legislators and communities, participating in coalitions and events, and involvement in other elder justice related activities.
Ageless Alliance is a nationwide grassroots social justice movement comprised of people of all ages who stand united to promote the dignity of older adults and to end elder abuse. To achieve this mission we work to build awareness of the dignity of older adults and the prevalence of their abuse; we work to provide support to elder victims of abuse and their advocates, and we work to get people involved to take action to end the abuse of older adults.
