MAY 19-20	2016 Annual Scientific Meeting of the American Geriatrics Society (AGS) at the Long Beach Convention and Entertainment Center in Long Beach, California Pre-conference day is Wednesday, May 18.
JUNE 15	June 15, 2016 marks the 11th annual World Elder Abuse Awareness Day (WEAAD). The purpose of WEAAD is to provide an opportunity for communities around the world to promote better understanding of abuse and neglect of older persons.
JUN 15	Dr. Lisa Gibbs will be the featured speaker at the Elder and Dependent Adult Abuse Prevention Conference, “Safeguarding Elder and Dependent Adults Against Abuse” in Santa Barbara, California.
JUN 21	Dr. Steven Tam will participate with a panel of experts to explain the signs of physical abuse and the incidence of caregiver neglect at a local conference in Long Beach, California, “Bee Smart, Bee Safe! Protect Yourself from Elder Abuse.”
